1. Ok, stripped the wood by first using Lemon Oil to get the grime off, baked a bit after that to get any cosmo out of the crevices and then with very diluted Purple Power, light scowered with a 0000 pad of steelwool, set up to dry.

2. The hardware is in great shape and the bore is already cleaned. Looks chromed it is so clean. I have two small pitting spots with a bit of rust under the barrel. I will dremel clean and polish the pitts smooth and then reblue the small areas.

3. More reports later.

1. My wife gets really mad because I work 12 hours a day and then go out to my shop in the evening. I compromise by cleaning the furniture in the house so I can talk to her at the same time.

2. The one over my fireplace is a 1864 damascus wound 12ga shotgun. Singlebarrel with hammer.
