to me it's not a "deal".....why would I pay more....a hell of a lot more for a bayonet, then I did for the rifle, that it would attach to?

but I imagine, for someone who has more money then brains, it would be a great deal.

I'd pay more for a Swiss bayonet than I did for my K-31s if it was to reunite the rifle with its matching serialed bayonet.; that I'd do just on principle.

Other than thst exceptional eventuality . . .

The auction bayonet appears to be a 1914 Pioneer bayonet with a 1906 Pioneer scabbard. (According to the ID pics on swissrifles.com.)

There also looks to be something funny going on with the right side of the blade tip in the first pic.

As always, I could be wrong . . .
