Just received some 45 acp mags from ammoman. They were 10 for $79 w/free shipping. These are NIW and appear to be USGI, though I'm not sure. They insert and drop free in both my Molinas. A big improvement over the ones that came with the guns.

I bought two USGI blued 7-rounders at the gun show last weekend for $5 each. The lady running the table for her husband didn't have a clue... LOL

Make sure they aren't the ones with the round follower. Those usually won't hold seven rounds and still insert into my Series 80. The also won't hold the slide back on the last round. I picked some of them up at a show last year. For $5 they work OK for a range mag I guess.

The French Rifleman is right about those round followers. I have a couple of those. Luckily I scored on a sweet deal with Springfield Armory and now have plenty of excellent seven round mags. :)

Richard,

Mine are the round-top follower ones, but they hold the slide open after the last shot. They hold seven rounds, too. The one that came with my gun is an 8-rounder with a flat SS follower. It works great, too. Oh, well, it's a .45, what can I say?? It's great!

These followers are flat, not round. They look exactly like the followers in the Molina's mags.
