Hey neil, didn't you pick one of these Argentine 1909 Mausers in 7.65 Arg from SOG?

I was reading Numerich's catalog yesterday and they state that the Arg Model 1909 is one of the best looking old world craftmanship, deep bluing Mauser rifles ever. They list it as second to one of the 1800's German models the 74/xx or something I forget.

They got me nibbling on the hook for one, perhaps you could post a pic of yours so I can take the bait hook line and sinker :)

Anyone else have one of these they got from SOG or elsewhere?

Are you saying Numerich's has these for $36?

No Guinny, Numerich doesn't have any for sale, they just have little write ups here and there in their catalog on different weapons.

Saw one of these at a local store today, came back and did a search. He wanted a little over $200 I think...I was in a hurry and didn't really look for a long time. Anyone have any more info on them? It also came with a very long bayonet. The label said it was an arty bayo:confused:

Neilwest is right Redstar, the receiver is left in the white and the furniture is usually very nice. Saw an 1891 Argy Carbine at the gunshow yesterday, should have picked it up as later on I saw an 1891 rifle that would have matched perfectly. :(
