Anyone here ever deal with Cascade Ammo on the web? They claim they have FMJ or HP russian for 119 a case. Do they deliver promptly? I am always nervous about dealing with a new mail order company. Thanks.

I ordered 2 cases from them a week and 1/2 ago. I was told that they were out of stock and should get them in 2 to 3 weeks. I'll see next week if they show up.

Nearly everything I've tried to order from Cascade Ammo has been "out of stock". I ended up ordering from Gulf Coast Ammo (1-800-725-6578) for my 7.62x39. They have both the Russian HP & FMJ for $106.50 + Shipping (for me to Zone 7 shipping was $20.50 for a total delivered price of $127). I paid a couple of dollars more and have my ammo *now*... Tomac
I ordered a case from them about a week ago, via FAX, and have never heard back. I've also tried emailing them, but no reply. That makes me mad - now I have to call them and cancel the order - I think I'll try Gulf Coast as well. If they are out of stock, they could at least update their web site, and respond to order inquiries, what the hell do they do all day?

That is very interesting. I emailed them and they replied claiming to have it in stock, of course claim is the word. Thanks for the info folks.

Thanks I will try gulf coast. Cascade has great prices but I dont feel like waiting around for months. These internet businesses some seem very good some suck big time. Get this one dealer here is trying to soak people for 300 dollars a case for surplus. I could go to Kmart and buy federal brass cased ammo for that.

Definitely *NOT* J&G Gun Sales in Prescott, AZ. Went up there this last weekend for a few cases of mix-and-match and ended up going home empty-handed. They were suspiciously doing a 'bait-and-switch' regarding their 7.62, as in:
"Well, we're all sold out of the Russian, but we *do* have the Selliar&Bellot for $4 a box (20)" and,
"Nope, all sold out of S&B 9mm, but we have some of this, that you might want to get instead..."
I'll never go back there - I'll take my chances with drop-shipment from wholesalers!
