...from WWII on THC at 8PM EST, "Secret Passages". Should be a good view. (Should see a few K-31s too. :D)

--------------------

Also, this is post 2K for me; apparently, I was wasting time at a faster rate for the second K than the first. :D:D:D

Keep em coming.

I believe I saw this show a while back. If you think the French had a fortress in the Maginon Line this is definetly worth watching.

Damn it . . . I have inlaws visiting from AZ and didn't check the boards or turn on History Chan last night! I'd like to have seen what they were showing. I've seen a Swiss DOD video tape on one of their mountain bases and it's artillary capailities. They have every mountain range in that country honey combed with tunnels, bases, wear houses and living quarters.

They also have every road and bridge access to the country mined to be blown up at a moments notice. Entire mountain sides are mined to be blown to drop on an invaders convoy. They would make life very unplesant to an invader. The only thing I don't know much about is their anti aircraft capabilities.

The Swiss simply turned their country into one gigantic meat-grinder!

One of the noteworthy details that I took away from the segment was that the Swiss were aware of the German spies in the country monitoring the excavations and construction, and simply let them watch as a "persuasive" tactic.

I see potential here for a Jerry Lewis comeback
