I had no more than 15 seconds to look at it, before I left for Buffalo yesterday... At first glance, the rifle looks great for a UFIXEM! All parts are there, except for the trap in the buttplate. A very nasty looking Bayonet is attached at the front of the rifle. :)
Like I said I only took it out of the box and looked at it before I shoved it back in and took a 9 hour trip to Buffalo (a story for another thread)...
It has a very interesting carving in the stock, I will take pictures when I get back home. The carving is a giant hammer and sickle with a star that covers almost all of the right side of the buttstock... It is very deep and professional looking... Some Albanian Communist spent a lot of time on it.
I would rather it didn't have the carving as its an Italian rifle, but then again, it is a testament to the history of what this rifle has been thru. I think I may paint the carvings red ala Neilwest ;)
