Japanese Type 38 Question!!

1. OK heres the deal as my teenage daughter would say. Should I redo this gem or just clean it and leave it as is? The stock is cracked around the grip of the stock and will require work. If I repiar it I will have to redo the entire stock? Should I do this or just hang it up as a historical aritifact?

I would keep this one original. find one with the mumm grinned off and redo that one.

1. thats the way I was leaning. I can always get Springfield Sportster's to send me another one next month and use that one as a shooter. Thanks.

with your luck you'll get another one fully intact with dust cover and mumm. then you'll have to order another one;)

I would let this one alone. A wrist crack just plain suck's to repair.I would hang it up as a historical artifact.

I would have to leave this one alone. Just clean her up a little then give her a little fondle every now and then and all will be well. ;)
