I'm on my last ufixem so I thought I'd better snag a pair of these 1903's. Probably won't get a bolt, but who knows. Anyway, should no bolts come and the things are restorable condition otherwise, anyone out their have bolts? I've looked through Gun Parts Corp. They don't list a 1903 Turk specifically. Not sure if a bolt from a different model Turk mauser would work. Thoughts on this anyone?

I posted this on another thread. The answer is No. The 1903 uses an intermediate size bolt, so a regular Mauser 98 bolt will not work.

The bolt on the left came out of a turk dated 1932 which has the tear drop knob on the end of the bolt handle. The bolt on the right came out of a turk dated 1942.Anyone know when the teardrop bolt was discontinued.

If memory serves me correctly, the teardrop was a characteristic of the 1903's.
