You takin' bets?? :) And if so, what odds are you giving?
I think most of the 7.35s were sent to Finland, 90K+. I've got one, but its got a mangled, bubba-ized stock which I am trying to replace.

1. First I found out that you can apply for a 08 with your 03 license, so we can all apply for one. Second I found out that one is issued for each individual shipment, The cost for the license would exceed the cost of the purchase in this case by almost double. Then I would have to go to customs declare it and clear it.
2. The short of it is I DONT THINK SO. I'll just have to shop for one in the states for this M38 type varient.
3. THANKS BILL CLINTON. YOU DID IT AGAIN

Yeah, they do have some nice stuff. I will definitely keep them in mind when my C&R arrives.
No problem on the links, I am still trying to find a stock and whatever I find, I'll post. I'm going to start putting them in the Italian French and Swiss section.
I hope this one works for you, I'd hate to be the only one with a 7.35 SA 38:p

I have two 7.35 Carcano. The interesting thing is that one is NOT SA marked. It is a Nxxxx serial #, 1939 RE Terni short rifle. I wonder why it didn't get sold to the Finns? These are fun rifles but they are challenging to get ammo. I reload and was lucky enough to find 5 boxes of hornady .300 bullets at a gun show.

Neil if you go to WWW.auctionarms.com a carcano is up for auction that you may want to check out. Its a model 38 Carcano in 7.35mm Finnish SA marked manufactured by Terni in 1939. It looks like its in really good condition with all matching numbers. The auction ends 10/09 the item number is 3320557. If you don't know this site just look under the C&R section and run a search for Carcano you'll find it.
