a bright nail test,If you don't know what that is, e-mail me. fullauto@voy.net

First itīs NOT German, itīs from Hungary ( or Poland )...and if it is from 1976 ( seems so ) then it is corrosive

It IS German, sort of... The new, Unified Germany has been remanufacturing 7.62x39 ammunition for some several years now. They take Com-Bloc steel core ball
cartridges, remove the bullet and replace with a lead core one. I have seen cases
from East Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria remanufactured like this. It is likely to be corrosive, but so what???? Just clean your weapon correctly and soon after firing it, and you will never know the difference between corrosive ammunition or not.
