Yeah those are sweet. I'm trying to import one for 8 months now and fucking ATF won't approve the form 6! The importer I'm using says we may have to send in the documents again. It's probably one of those examples of a fed employee losing a file on purpose so they can sleep in their office all day.

I bet it's the flash suppressor with the bayo lug that is holding it up. Sitting back and looking at it, it looks really mean!!

I got that rifle about a year and a half ago. In fact, the ATF approved my Form 6 so quickly I had to scramble around to get te rest of the cash.
But that was pre-9/11. Everything seems to be moving a lot slower now.

When all was said and done it cost me about $1600. This was a couple years back, and ZfK55s are getting harder and harder to find. Fortunatley, the ZfK55 is specifically listed as a C&R.
No, I didn't get the spare parts kit. I do have a copy the manual posted (in German) at http://www.swissrifles.com/sr/sniper/manual.pdf.

I love your site, lots of really good information and great products on it. Got me really considering a K31.
