Basically I got 3 receivers/trigger groups and a couple usable misc metal pats.
See pics.
None have handgaurds, none have complete stocks, none have usable barrels, none have bolts.
I got $30 worth of parts for $50 :(
I should have known better with century than to get the last 3 U-Fix-Um's
Actually, these really can't be considered "U-Fix-Um's" since in order to be "U-Fix-Um's" they would have to be FIXABLE
Well, at least I can still look forward to receiving my Ballester Molinas that I ordered LAST MONDAY

PA Pat,
I am really sorry to hear about that, especially since you ordered them based on my report of my first three.
I offered a bolt to MRIman, if he doesn't want it, it's yours. There is a chance I may part out a second rifle, but I'll have to wait to see what my last 5 look like tomorrow.
I read somewhere the the intermediate complete bolt from a VZ24 will work. FAC also has stripped bolt bodies, but the problem will be the cocking piece and the firing pin.

Look at the bright side, you have some nice sturdy poles to use for your tomato plants next summer....
You can't return those right?

Damn Pa., you're sure having some piss-poor luck with Century recently. I feel for ya. Luckily, they've been pretty good to me so far. Hopefully, your Molinas will be as nice as mine. That'll take some of the sting away. Hell, your luck has GOTTA turn around at some point.
And come to think of it, if you had wanted to purchase Turk receivers, or any receivers for that matter, you would have had to go through an 01 FFL since receivers aren't considered a firearm under the C & R laws. So you got the receivers without having to pay any transfer fee to an FFL. You probably got a pretty good deal after all. (Just trying to put a positive spin on an otherwise shitty experience.:))

Don't sweat it LP ;)
And thanks for the offer. Would be nice to have A Turk 03 for the collections
I'll part these out when I get to it, not muct to part out but....
Well at least I got more junk to practice 'smithing on

PA Pat,
You may want to post this over on the other board, since Tony and Faltiude are waiting for their's to arrive.

PA. Patriot,
Man, that makes me sick!! Those were once some fine rifles. I am very sorry that you got ripped that way. Of course it's just the luck of the draw.

Yeah, but you'd think the guy pulling them off the pile could at least pull ONE with a buttstock. I received a 91/30 that looked like that once. Bummer.

I don't think these guys know. According to the wonderful St. Albains Messenger that Century was so kind to provide, it's dated March 14, 2002. That means they were boxed and put into stock around that time. The MN91/30s had a April date.
I think it's the luck of the shuffle.

Not much I can add to what's already been said. These ufixems are a real throw of the dice. Hope you can salvage and find at least enough to get a wall hanger out of it. :(

Wow, I just relooked when I saw you say no butts. I'm sorry to say it but you made me feel better about the 91/30s. Maybe you can weld something with those barrels
Are the cleaning rods useable? My friend's rod is messed up.
