I just got a nice Type 99 Arisaka that has really good metal, bore and mum intact.

It also has professionally done Williams peep rear & ramp front sights and turned down bolt.

Mr. bubba didn't do too bad of a job "sporterizing" the military stock. It deserves better though.

Anyone know if any companies are still in business that make aftermarked sporter stocks for the T-99? I remember years ago about Bishop and Fjagen companies, but I cannot find anything on the internet about them ?

Also a box of Norma 7.7 came with rifle . The price on the box was $4.20 !!! Now Norma 7.7 is $35.00 or more!!

I want to make a decent looking huntin rifle. thanks for any info

Thanks guys! I will try to contact LPSpinner as suggested.I did check out the Austrialian website listing reproduction Arisaka stocks. Sounds good but my project rifle has already been modified. A nice military stock would be inappropriate use at this point . Thanks again. Pete
