Looks good! What was originally wrong with these and what did you do to them?

It was missing a firing pin or something right? This one looks good, did you sell the other one? I also got a cracked stock from SOG, and now in the process of stripping it. :)

:)thanks for posting the pics for me lpspinner. i am still trying post pics and still having problems. but i had ordered two of the $27.95 turk mausers from SOG and when they came in the classified as gunsmith specials on the invoice and believe me they were. what i had to do was take both of them and use the action on one and the stock from the other, then i scraped the old finish off and sanded it down and restained it. well (nugget) stained and finished it up for me. he does a great job at that. but i like what we made out of what i got. yeah there was a firing pin broke too, but i sold that action i just did not feel like messing with it. but it is all fixed up and ready to go now.:cool:

Hey Frenchman,

That Turk looks great. Have you shot it yet? Anything in 8mm rocks! I love these guns and I'd love to have a dozen of them. Hopefully all of them would have different colors of wood... LOL You guys did great on it. LPSpinner, good job of picture posting!!

To make your pics show up you are half way there. You already have a host for your pics, but instead of putting the link in the body of your post hit the "IMG" button just above the post box... It is in line with the http:// @ IMG # PHP List Quote.... When you hit the IMG button you put your picture link there and it will post the picture for you :bye:
