Anyone purchased these?
Pg. 29 of current catalog. M98 stock and handguard
#ST038, condition: New (Unfinished) $19.87
Are they really K98? Look like earlier (no sling slot or cupped butpad relief) version...

Actually they are M38 turk stocks. they won't fit a K98. No hardware either. I posted a pic of one on frenchman's Turk Mauser thread here: http://www.gunsnet.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=78559

Hmm, that's what I was afraid of...
Century has them on a page entitled "Parts M98 parts - German Mfr."

Yeah, well they could be M98 German stocks too, they are very similar to the Turk stocks... Mauser made the parts for Turk rifles so even 38 stocks are Gwerman in origin I believe.
Anyway, the K98 is a karbine as compared to the long M98.
