My friend sent me a link to this, it's not TOO bad, but some people have no taste, and that they would do it to a k-31 is shameful (especialy since it has better wood than my gun!)

Sometimes you'd like to meet and stomp a person that does that to a weapon! :elbarfo:

I wish I hadn't looked at that!! I'm sick to my stomach now.... Man, how could anyone do something so ridiculous!! If he wasn't man enough to shoot that rifle without messing it up that way, he should stick to .22's. I wonder how my Number Eleven would fit up his A##!!!!!!!!

If you read the entire post, aparently the entire range has k-31's for everyone which is kinda cool! I mean the thing that pisses me off is the rifle (from what i've seen) is in pretty damn good condition (the wood looks real nice) and it's not even the guys rifle! I sure as hell hope that mark in the buttstock wasn't his plans to cut down the wood to make room for the recoil pad!

That is like cutting down a nice classic car for use in a demolition derby. Absolutely disgusting.

goes to show that bubba will take any classy and nice looking weapon, and put his own "mark" on it that tells everyone, I'm a idiot and a fool and my taste is in my ass......I like what he did with the duck tape, it gives it that trailer trash touch.

Now I'm not familiar with a K-31. It looks like he glued on a butt pad, possibly shaved the sides of the existing butt plate and scarred the stock. Have I missed anything?

I've got one of those slip on pads that I've got stuffed with spacers to give me the extra 2 1/4 " pull that I need to feel comfortable when shooting the K-31 in the summer; it's unnecessary in the winter with the sweater and coat.
Did a little shooting at the end of this past summer w/o the pad and took a shot to my right cheek from that $*@#% ring!
6'5"+ and skinny shooting a rifle designed to be fired by a 5'7" dude in 3-4 inches of uniform and overcoat doesn't work.
Permanently fucking up a rifle though?
Sick.
