Hello everyone.
I just got my new shotgun news yesterday, and I stumbled across the COOLEST AR-15 idea in the world: A (fixed) 10-round, pistol-gripped, full lower that can be LEGALLY assembled with PRE-BAN parts!!!!!!!!!! Does this mean that I could have an AR-15 PREBAN rifle for about HALF the cost of a normal PREBAN?! I only shoot at the range (targets), and never fully load up my SAR-1 with 30 rounds, So could this be the best cost-effective way venture into the "AR" Experience? (sorry for being so giddy, it happens sometimes!):jump:

by the way, the lower is on the net at <<< www.gogogadgets.net >>>

Well, it's not "pre-ban" - but it's also not subject to the federal AW ban, since it cannot accept a detachable magazine.

As long as your state law doesn't forbid it, the FAB-10 can indeed be configured the same way as a pre-ban - folding/collapsing stock, flash suppressor, bayonet lug, etc.

It could even have a fixed magazine larger than the given 10 rounds, but the manufacturer made it that way to garner California sales (where it's limited to a fixed mag of no more than 10 rounds by CA state law).
