Just received my first order from SOG. Among my goodies is a Turkish Mauser T-38 in very good condition. Still has a lot of hidden cosmoline on it and looks like someone steam cleaned the finish off the stock but there are no cracks (or matching numbers either, but that's ok). It's got this cleaning rod sticking out under the barrel and for the life of me I can't budge it. Any ideas on how that sucker comes out?
Oh, by the way, this is a true battle rifle cause there is blood all over it. Well, I didn't realize that little rod thing had a sharp edge and sliced my thumb and I kept wondering where the funny looking wet patches were coming from. Now, the rifle is really and truely bloodied.
