1. I got one from Century but only after ordering about 5 of them(three UFIXEMS). These are hard to come by. Just the luck of the draw. By the way Century has no plans to get any more after this batch. If you want a Carcano it may be the time to get one.

Well I already have one. A Beretta 1938 Carcano, I picked it up at A local gun show, its in great condition all numbers match right down to the stock best of all its not import marked. It took me a few years but I did track down an origianl Beretta folding balde bayonet to go along with it.

I've got one too, and they are not very common, but not rare either. Mine even has the leather scabbard wear marks on it, and came from SOG until they sold out of 91/38 Cavalry Carbines. The bore is the most perfect of any of my Carcani, and it is dated 1941, with the Beretta Gardone stamp.
Brescia and Gardone 91/38 Cavalry Carbines seem to be the most commonly encountered in my experiences, but don't quote me on that..

Do you mean the M38 as in 7.35mm? Collectors call the 6.5mm version the 91/38 to differentiate the two, but Century screws it up by calling them all M38's.

I've always got nice guns from SOG its good to hear that you like the weapon they sent you.Mine is chambered in 6.5 so its the 91/38. Mine also has the Beretta Gardone stamp manufatured in 1940. Hey I got a question for you there is a stamp on the stock and I don't know what it means. It's a PG in a box just below the action any ideas?
