What is the best place to get a new bolt? I thought that I needed a new ejector. I replaced it, and the SOB protrudes so cartridges won't seat and the bolt won't go all the way forward to home position. Any thoughts on this?
Is the bolt face clean ?
Is the hole and spring clean ?
Is this a new bolt or does it have a lot of use on it.
I have seen bolt faces errode but not near the ejector hole.
I buy my bolts from Bushmaster and usually replace bolt and carrier

It's perfectly clean. I'm anal retentive when it comes to weapon cleanliness. I was accustomed to doing pushups, or holding my M16 out at arms length while gripping the front sight with the thumb and forefinger in my left hand, gripping the charging handle with the same fingers on the right hand, and holding the charging handle back under spring tension as a punishment for having a dirty weapon. I was 11B.
The bolt is fairly used. I bought the Bushmaster NIB and I've only had about 5000 rounds through it. I guess it's a fluke thing. I'll order one from Bushmaster.

Is the ejector free to operate? Does it push in when you inspect the bolt out of the weapon with a round?
