Was just wondering if anyone has any pics or details on these?Like what the barrel twist is,what kind of mags are used,who makes or sells them?I've alway wonder about theses.Any info would be appreciated.

Don't know any details but this is a friends Poly Tech MOD. AKS-223. It is a pre ban rifle so none have been imported since 1989. It uses Ploy Tech 223 mags.

Before the import ban there were RPK'S in 5.56! Now if you can find them there NHM-91's-5.56 thumbhole. Impact Arms had some but were gone really quick! The pre bans go for around $1000 and post bans for around $450-$550. :(

Recon, are you looking? I found a pre-ban Norinco, was supposed to get pics but haven't yet. Can't afford it, if you have an interest it was about $1150--shoot me an e-mail and I'll give you the info I got.:cool:

Yeah, the NHM91 .223's had me way too excited to think straight at the time. This one is supposed to be a pre-ban with synthetic furniture (?). Price seems fair but I never got the pic they said they'd send. I tried to send their web page, if it didn't fly let me know and I'll try again--------Wes.:cool:

If its not 5.45 or 7.62 its just not right! American cals in commie guns just isnt right! ;)

Could always build on a 20" .223 saiga. These are suppossed to have 1x7 twist barrels, reported to be very accurate as well.
