On another Carcano topic, thought you all might want to know that the Hornady ammo's eta at Graf & Sons is November 1.
The delay is due to the Yugoslavians not sending the brass to Hornady on time, as I understand it.

Thats for the article, and the heads up on the ammo Herrdoc! I am anxiously awaiting the Hornady 6.5 ammo :)

That testimony is very interesting, especially on the subject of the inherent error within the scope and it's effect on "lead time". It shows how educated firearms people thoroughly analyzed every possible angle in determining whether the rifle was capable of performing the (5.6 seconds, based on knowledge at the time) assassination from the 6th Floor window. Now we know it was 8.4 seconds for 3 shots, 5.6 was the last two only.
Neil, I put up a sticky in the Italian Forum. You are welcome to add anything I might have forgot, in particular, anything about stock finishing, as your stock work is the best I've seen yet.
