A cook at a local restaurant I frequent used to have a MAK-90, but it was stolen from him awhile back, Anyway, he had a bunch of mags that the bastard theif didn't get ahold of, and sold them to me for $20 (though I might throw in another $10, cause I kinda feel I'm taking advantage of him). Anyway, here's what I got for that $20 (or $30):

Two 30 round mags (one Chinese, the other
unknown but looks identical)
Five 5 rounders, all Chinese

I'm thinking about doing the modification mentioned somewhere here on the board to convert the five rounders to hold ten rounds. Anyone have any experience with this, and/or instructions or the link to same? (though I suppose I can just search for it myself)

Anyway, is it safe to say I got a good deal?

You got about $55-60 worth of mags., based upon current pricing. 30rd mags common at $10 each, and 5 rd mags available new for $7 each. Deal? You decide. Look through previously posted threads on this site for 5rd to 10rd conversion hints. Have fun!
