Hey everybody, got a question for you. I was just cleaning and prepping some 762 mags for deep storage. I have recently bought East German magazines from two different sources, Clearview Investiments and Classic Arms. The ones from Clearview uniformally have a black painted finish with a little wear. The mags from Classic are blued, some of which are totally new and some showing wear. At least two of the mags from Classic so far are not East German at all as advertised, but Russian showing the arrow in the triangle Izvhesk stamp on the rib.
Here's the question - Most of the other magazines, while new, are unmarked, yet resemble the Russian's in finish. Would these be East German as advertised or, more than likely, Russian?
Also, only one other magazine has any markings that I can see. Along the rib is stamped these letters: KGDPO
Anyone have any idea what this stamp means?
I'll double check to see if I find any other stamps on any of the other mags. Thanks in advance.
