The only weapons to use a straight automatic sear are the original AK-47 rifles, milled reciever, from the 50s and 60s. Al others use a curved auto sear.

Poly-Tech full-auto conversions that were done by SWD used straight auto sears that had been notched to fit arount the rivet. I don't know why they didn't use the regular curved sears. They had to take the time to cut the notch in the straight sears, and it seems like it would have been cheaper and faster to use the curved ones designed for the stamped receivers.

That is acutally an improvement over my Ceiner coversion Maadi, the rivet and support pin were removed so the straight sear wouldn't hit it. As a result, my receiver has a distinct curve in it.
