I just ordered some parts from Sarco for the first time. I could not believe the hoops you have to go through to order parts!!! The order-takers have NO CLUE about parts, part numbers, or prices. I had to get transferred to "The Parts Dept" to get the part-numbers and prices of the parts I wanted... I had to write these down, and then get transferred back to the orders dept and place my order. The people were nice and helpful enough, but the whole ordering process seems pretty darn frustrating to me.. probably really frustrating for the people that work there. Sarco seems to have some decent prices and decent selection of items, too bad they don't have a nice e-commerce website and better system for ordering. I think they'd probably double their sales and make their employees and customers a lot more happy.

To paraphrase Karen Carperter... You've only just begun... to appreciate the "Sarco Experience"... the wait for shipment and delivery can go on for quite a while. My last order is 6 weeks out, no word.

I had faxed in this order a few weeks back, I hadn't heard a word for a week.
I then I noticed my bank account had a denied charge from Sarco for around $200. The parts I had ordered were only about $50. Still not sure why my bank denied it, but good thing they did. So I decided to call and cancel the order and place the order over the phone just in case they got it right and actually charged me that amount. While cancelling the order I found out that a "uzi parts kit" was added to my order... what the heck? Anyway, I placed another order, at my own peril, for the parts I wanted, in which I experienced the aforementioned scenario. The same parts would have cost me almost twice as much from Numrich, but now I'm beginning to think it might have been worth it.
