Cracked stock on Excellent +++ M48A

Bought this the same time I got the $89 Yugo shooter specials. Started to clean it up tonight and found a buttstock repair under all the cosomline (has a stamping on the top of it from arsenal), when I clenaed up the other side and took off the buttplate, I found a nasty crack all the way through that will get even worse.

Since this is an Excellent+++ rifle, I should be getting one with a crack free stock, right?

What should I do?

Chris from customer service emailed me first thing this morning and told me to ship the rifle back to them for a replacement. He apologized for the bad stock and told me they'd reimburse for the shipping. The crack and repair weren't visible under all the cosmoline, very nice looking otherwise.

I would have tried to work out a deal for credit.

(edit) never mind, didn't notice the crack on the other side - I should really read more carefully
