Can anybody tell me what letter "P" stands for on the elevation range indicator of the rear sight.

P,D,upside down U(depending on what country gun is from) are the markings for battle setting 0-300 meters. It is for hitting a man size target from point blank out to 300 meters .

It is a MAADI. Is that the marking I have to set my sight to "combat-zero" it?

What ever your shooting range is set up for 100 yards or meters. Once you zero rifle at 100 it will be set for all elevation markings on rear sight.
Just remember to move your rear sight to battle setting when you are ready to fight infedels/imperialists/capitalists/zionists or whatever in jehad/revolution/enthnic clensing/combat or whatever.

Belive it or not: i have an oppertunity to go and fight in Jehad well against the muslums.
Over in sudan they are supplying volenteers with Ak-47 and ammo to kill the muslums becasue the ar taking the christians food and killing them. they cut off the wemans boobs and castrate the men. the take the children and enslave them and beat them and make them convert to muslum.
i might go this summer 2000 after school gets out. i am happy about the fact that i'll get some revenge on those lil fucks who kill americans because America has a mainly christian back round.

Sniper, just don't look too hard at what your "comerades" are doing in return. In most conflicts, and nearly all civil conflicts, the level of atrocity is remarkable consistant on both sides. You usually hear only one side, and the assumption is that the other side has all the "bad guys". This case may be an exception; I'm just advising care before you get into something like this.
By the way, check what can happen to your citizenship if you don't pick the right side to fight for.

Well from what i heard the muslums were going after the unarmed christians.
i saw pictures of weman with out feeding organs cause the muslums cut em off!
and the muslums castrate the guys.
Also i have heard that the muslums have a helicopter and were doing strafing runs on the church.
My father is a preacher and from what he has told me about christiananity is that we accept all people but we are willing to defend our freedom.
so i don't think that the christians are going after the muslums just to kill and go to heaven.
the christians don't have a specific word for war and when they go to war they don't call it spiritual cleansing!
so i am going to look and see what the muslums say about the christians and make a educated desion about what i am going to do.
the reason that i want to help is that i can teach the christians to defend them selves better from greater distances than 20 yards.
i think that is the muslums can use tanks ans helicopters and crap that make it an unfair fight that the christians need to make it a more fair fight.
i know that in defending them selves the christians burn building and stuff and kill and all that but it is way out of line to go after unarmed people with a gun ship carring door gunners and 2.5" rockets.

all faiths have been guilty of many atrocities multiple times- chirstians included - just look at what the serbs did in Bosnia. Every side believes that it has right and God on its side- that's true for both sides. Many non-christian people in this world today have plenty of good reasons to feel that christians did them wrong in grievous ways. You seem to believe that moslems are naturally evil- they are no worse or better than us. Don't be so simple minded as to believe that anything is black or white- there are many nuances of grey in real life. The only ones who see in black and white are the dangerous fanatics who cause wars, atrocities and unhappiness.

From what I can see you could still benefit from some extended schooling- writing, philosophy, english, etc, and your spelling is appalling. Why don't you spend a couple of years going to a junior college first, or even better, get a Bachelor's degree, and then revisit your thoughts? Being a bit older and more experienced will also make you more credible and valuable if you still want to help other people. There will still be lots of places left for you to help.

I would suggest a junior college far enough away from home that you have to move away from your family, and get a chance to form your own opinions as well. As my grandfather used to say, as long as you are a part of the flock, you are just one more sheep http://www.ak-47.net/akcgi/smile.gif

If college is not for you then spend a stint in the army, or even better the peace corps if they accept you- that will mature you too and teach you much that you cannot learn at home.

Btw, I hear that in Sudan there are many 15 year olds with 6 years of battle experience who will make about one mouthful of you with their 100 year old rifles... So be careful. School is probably a much better idea for you for a while.
