I would like to make a couple of suggestions , please tell me what you think . The way i see it , everyone with a gun should be a good shot . I discovered something that made a noticeable difference in my accuracy . All i did was instead of using tip of my forefinger to pull yhe trigger i slid my finger in a little further to just before the second joint , much straighter pull , very accurate . What do ya'll think ?

Yes indeed! You have learned lesson one in accuracy firing...the proper finger position....now on to breathing techniques......

Do any of you have any other tips or suggestions ? One other thing i have noticed that helps me when shooting a pistol is to have a tight grip , loose arms , tight shoulders . It seems to help me .

For sniping, hold the mag as a second grip and tuck your elbow into your side along with wrapping the sling on the inside of your arm. Then when you go to shoot slowly lean forward into the shot practice this method and you will see what I mean- an actual Marine Sniper showed me that, he shoots at Camp Perry every year.

Go to www.snipercountry.com (http://www.snipercountry.com) and browse around. There is a ton of sniping tips in the training section.

when shooting semi auto pistols put your trigger finger up to the first joint, anymore or less finger on the trigger will throw your shots to the left --i have this problem
on a revolver put the first joint of your trigger finger on the trigger

keep a firm grip on the gun, dont choke it, your 2nd hand if you use it should be firmer than the gun hand, you can relax your gun hand a bit more
stand straight and lean forward a bit, keep your arms stiff, probably locked forward is better --depending on stance

Also use the "short trigger reset method" for slow accurate fire. When you fire your first shot hold the trigger all the way back untill the next round is chambered. Now release the trigger only enough untill you hear of feel the disconnector release the hammer and don't let the trigger move forward anymore. You will now have a very short release and a more controlled trigger pull. This method also works very well with Glock handguns.

Wanna know a good grip? Well you're gonna hear it anyway. point the gun at your target and take your finger off the trigger and keeping the gun in your hand point your trigger finger at your target (keeping your sights on target) then still pointing your finger at the target as well as sights wrap your hand around the gun. Then and only then stop pointing your finger at the target and put it on the trigger. This gives you a perfectly strait wrist and trigger pull, this means everything in shooting accuratly.

This works with pistols, shotguns, and rifles, try it, it works unbelievably well.

Also, make sure to put your finger in alittle farther with guns that have a long trigger pull such as AK's
