SKS Bayonets

I have SKS that Ihave owned for about 10 years and has never been shot,I got to pick it out of the crate the dealer had,still had cosmolene all over it. The serial number is 1666778, marked by importer cja, southfield,MI. It came with hardware to mount bayonet but didnt come with bayonet, the barrel is 20 inches long, bought a spike bayonet measuring 14 inches long overall but its to long, it dosent fit in the handgaurd, is it possible mine takes a knife bayonet?
Where can I get one if this is what I need?Thanks

the gun shows have the blade bayonet, or check SGN, maybe even a local gun shop
also its not wise to post the total serial number on here, use XXX for the last few digits --HTH
