ATF permission

As an addendum, I was just curious, has anyone ever gotten BATF permission to make a f/a gun?

I've never heard of an individual getting permission. Class 2 manufacturers such as the company I'm associated with do it all the time. They just can't transfer it to anyone except dealers with LE demo letters or LE/military.

I have numerous form 1s approved for making MGs as an individual. However they were all prior to May 19 1986. You can still make your own AOW, SBR, Silencer/suppressor. Form 1 is for making your own. It still requires the appropriate tax and CLEO signoff. Sorry no new MGs.
