New K-31

Finally got around to looking over my K-31. It was made in 1947 as per the serial number. It has about 98% blueing and the stock is in pretty good shape, just some dings from storage mainly near the bottom of the butt. It's got its first coat of lemon oil on it now and the grain of the wood is really starting to show. I am really amazed at the action and the machining of the receiver, typical Swiss.:) Can't wait to get some ammo for it. Pics will be coming shortly, about to finish a roll on my 35mm and will get them developed to CD.

Where did you obtain the K31? How much did it cost? Thank you.

I picked it up from a local dealer. The price was $129. A little more than from one of the wholesalers but I was able to look it over first which was nice, the dealer actually got it from AIM. It is really accurate, put 8 of 10 rounds I shot out of her within the 9 ring from 100yds. I had never fired it before and the sights needed no adjusting.
