I am going to buy a yugo m48a rifle. This will be my first gun i buy online now how do i it?

It depends if you have a license or not.

If you have a license send them an ink signed copy along with your payment and order.

If you do not have a license you will need to get a federal firearms dealer to mail in an ink signed copy of his license and order it for you. Some dealers will give you the ink signed copy to mail in yourself along with your payment. The rifle will be shipped to the dealer. When it comes in you go fill out the 4473 (yellow form) he calls it in and does the background check, you pay him his fee and you take the rifle home with you. This is called a transfer. You have to find a dealer who will agree to do a transfer for a fee. Customary fee is $15-$35 to do a transfer for you depending on the dealer and where you live. You may want to shop around or use someone you have a relationship built with.

AIM (and any other distributor) will toss any order without an ink signed federal firearms license on file. Thats' the only way you can order firearms thru the mail.
