1. Hey guys this was in the mail last week but with all I was doing, didnt get a chance to post.
2. Type 99 Japanese circa 1943, very nice wood, bluing 90% intact, full mum, with a crude bipod.

That's one beautiful rifle! Looks like they took ice tongs to use as a bipod, though... LOL

Ooo I like it. I like the teardrop bolt handles on the Jap rifles.
Thats certainly a fine example looks pretty pristine.

1. Without a doubt a great purchase. This is the same guy that I purchased my Maadi preban from. It to has arrived but I will have to wait until next weekend to pick up as after a week off I wont be able to get off for a couple of days.

I keep thinking more and more about saving for a 7.7 Jap. Like it or not my WWII collection will never be complete without one.

gorgeous. Saw the pic and just assumed you'd done the cleanup work on it before I read it. One of these days you're going to have to to down into the bunker and take a photo of your lair with it's wall to wall rifles

Oh for the sake of getting the trivia correct or should I say the most widely used name for the bolt handle shape is called a Plumb shape.;)
