I have two SKS's with the green Blackjack buffers. One is in a Norinco SKS and the other is in a Yugo SKS. I bought the buffers in mid October. I installed them the day after I received them and put the guns back up. Neither SKS has been fired since before I ordered the buffers. I took them out today to clean them and wipe them down with some oil. When I was putting the Yugo back together I noticed the buffer is split. (It is the green H-style and has NEVER been fired) It is split in the radius of the curve on the right side of the mid-section (looking down from the rear of the receiver). Has anybody else had this problem or did I just get a bad buffer?

I don't currently use buffers but I'm shopping now.
Have you contacted Blackjack Buffer for an explanination/replacement. Sounds like they need to give you a replacement.

Sent Blackjack an email. I was shocked to see the broken buffer. If I had 10k rounds on it I would not care if I had to buy another but this buffer has never been used!!

I have been in touch with Blackjack. We are working things out. It appears the Yugo SKS is made slighly different than the Norinco in the area where the buffer sits.

I mailed the broken buffer on Friday Dec. 6. It is now Friday Dec. 27 and I am still waiting for the replacement buffer. :(

It would appear that your replacement buffer that I sent around the 10th of Dec has gotten lost, I am resending the buffer today and will throw in a free AK buffer for your inconveince.
Sorry again for the delay

Thanks Blackjack. My grandmother once received a card in the mail from a freind of hers that had been dead for over a year. When my girfreinds sister got married over half of the invitations mailed were never delivered. USPS has got to be the most unorganized group of people in the world!

Just to add to the USPS issues, I mailed a buffer to Blackjack and all he got was a torn, empty envelope. In the last month, I have received over 5 of what I call "we're sorry" bags with the torn remains of mail that at least was delivered. I do have to admit that for the most part, the USPS does a great job, it is just when you are the unlucky one who gets bit.....errrrrrrr!

Yesterday I received the replacement SKS buffer with two AK buffers! :D Blackjack has the best customer service. He stands behind his product 100% and really knows how to treat people.
THANK YOU BLACKJACK!
Now I have to get two more AKs to put on those buffers :D
