Who makes the J&T parts kit? Are they any good? What concerns me the most is the barrels and how well the hold up. I was thinking about getting the 20" HBAR w/ flattop. Any thoughts?

(rock river is number one) J&T or double starr are some of the best in the business same as rock river as far as being mil spec ... the olympic are the junk out of spec ....I build them for a living I should know..model 1 sales are awesome too they use lots of rock river stuff ...... bushys are good too just pricey also lots of problems out of dpms ........ never buy I mean never buy hesse they are total crap....just my professional opinion only..... and .002 cents

I have had a J&T complete kit for almost a year now. All parts are mil-spec, good fit and finish, and a good price. I have about 500 rounds through mine with nary a problem. Not sure who makes their barrels, but I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

What lower did you end up using with your JT kit?

Twitchy, Sorry for the delay in replying, I've been having lots of computer troubles. Anyway, my J&T upper is on an Eagle Arms lower. It's made by Armalite. I got mine from www.quanticoarms.com for $85 plus FFL and shipping. I'm very ppleased with it. Hope this helps.
