Between these two AR-15 manufacturers which would you say is a higher quality and more reliable gun. BUSHMASTER or OLYMPIC ARMS? I am curious because there is quite a difference in price but i cant tell the difference in quality just by holding the gun.

I would go with Bushmaster only because if you have a problem with it you will get a better response from Bushmaster than Olympic, there customer service has much to be desired.

to justify the much higher price for the Bush. Oly is one of the few who make their own parts/barrels etc, and have a lifetime warranty, but to each his own..........

As a very satisfied Bushmaster owner of almost ten years I can say that the rifle is accurate, only jams when I've tried defective mags and looks as new as the day it was built..:cool:

The Olympics that I've seen and fired are really sloppy -they don't fit together like they should -that can't help their accuracy and I've been told that they jam a lot. Also Olympics are real shiny at first which looks bad, then they age and look like abused Viet Nam bring-backs.:(
