take off your old handgard look close at how mutch youll have to trim..fit the back part in first..then do the chin..you will take alot off the front...some dark red like stane will fix it right up...have fun.....jeff.......get a drimel...and the right bit for wood. its a ..SNAP..:)

Thanks for the help jeff I am just afraid that I will have to trim it so much that the wood will be to thin to support the handguard.

....any thing els ...just ask...:) also put the top hand gard on first.......its so you can see how to space them...(you will see what i mean)...you will need a pair of gloves ..look at the top hand gard.. it just sivels out if you have a vice ..or a crecent wrench..look at the back of the gase tube see the flat sides jently lock the back of the gas tube in the vice. or use the wrench..presing together wile you turn it out..the gloves are so you dont cut your self....go slow....you will see it move then a light will go on in your head .....OOOOO I SEE NOW...LOL..you mite have to trim the hand gard (wood) a bit to slide the new hand gard on but its a snap...then when you start on the bottom hand gard you will see how mutch of the chin will need to be removed to make it fit..your cleaning rod should fit after all this also....go slow...you will have fun....:)
