hi, i'd like to know if i should buy a certain sks. it is a russian 1953 tula arsenal. it is supposedly unissued. the bolt looks amazing and so does the stock except for one scratch. from all that does anyone think the price 375$ is fair? thanks

That is about what I have been seeing. Got to admit I cant justify it when I can buy 2 chinese guns for that. I guess russian when only the best will do.

I paid $175.00 for a mint Russian SKS one year ago at the Greensburg Pa gun show .It was a private sale and the Russian SKS's were around $250.00 at the time. In a year, i have seen them go up over $300.00,but $ 375.00 seems a bit high.

Not too bad the way things are going, but I'd still see if I could dicker them down at least to the $325-350 range.

Ouch, I sure didn't think Russian were that high now. I should sell mine for that and make double what I give for it lOL.

$375 sounds about right these days for a Russian SKS. That is what they are going for at recent gun shows I've attended in Florida and Virginia, and also what they are selling for on the internet. Make sure it has the folding blade bayonet attached (those look so cool) http://www.ak-47.net/akcgi/smile.gif
