Just brought home my SKS sporter, picked it up for $299. it take's the AK Mags
It got some of the best wood I have ever seen on an SKS.

You must have got one of the good ones. I had one of those briefly a few years back, and the quality was about the worst I've seen on any Chinese weapon. Apparently there is a lot of variation quality-wise with those guns.
