Has anyone ever used any of the detachable 20 rd mags from USA? Are they easily loaded with stripper clips? I have been wanting to get a 20 rd SKS mag, looked at some of the Chinese fixed type but they looked a bit rough.

Haven't used thier SKS mags specifically but I wouldn't use it if you gave it to me. I've had two USA mags completely disintegrate on me while I was using them. Both in a Beretta 92F. One was a 10 rounder which they cheerfully replaced in three weeks and a 17er that they expressed deepest sympathy about. I use the 10 rounder now to fill the mag well for storage and when I approach a range with a cleared and unloaded weapon.
I *like* the ChiCom 20's. The 10 doesn't hold enough to make a cloud on the berm and the 30's eliminate prone firing. If you go with one,(a 20) ,you may have to 'tune' it for smooth feeding but after a bit of practice you'll amaze people with how fast you can get two clips in that puppy.
