I just picked up a Norinco SKS and I don't know much about the Norinco's. You guys here are awsome at this identification stuff. On the left side of the reciever, it says SKS 7.62x39 Norinco China Poly U.S.A ATL GA. The serial number is 121xxxx and is followed by G4. I have stripped it down and the only other markings that I have found is 17 stamped next to each other on the barrel and on the receiver. There is also a 0 stamped on the barrel just below the rear sight. It has a threaded barrel and milled reciever. It also has matching serial numbers. Any information on this rifle would be greatly appriciated.
