green followers

Hi, would appreciate any help concerning replacing my black followers,with green updated ones. Where is the best place to buy them, the ones that are mil-spec and not curved. I have several 30 rounders with the black folowers(adventure line, and colt) seem to function flawless, even bump fire with a hell fire attached. But after reading numerous threads, i think it may be wise to replace the followers with green.Need info on where to obtain JUST the followers(not springs, nor base plates)...........Thanks for your assistance.

tens if not hundreds of places sell them online. Bushmaster, for one.

Replacement is not necessary if your mags work fine - they were originally implemented because there were some Sanchez mags slightly out of spec that required them as a remedial measure. To be safe, they're now required milspec on all new mags, but there are millions of mags in inventory with black followers, and SOP is to do nothing - just use them and eventually rotate them out of inventory when their time comes.

Circuits, thanks for the reply. Tried to find just the followers on bushmaster board, but seems that the ones i found there were included in a kit? also saw some followers on cmcg...or something like that and they seem to have what is described as 10 degree angle,and seem to have the front leg of the follower canted. Read where these were not desirable??

Try DPMS, they're among the cheapest I know of. www.dpmsinc.com - you'll have to look through some categories to find them.

I think about 25 mags all 30 round and all black followers, they work. So I think I leave them alone. :D
