Has anybody smoothed out there trigger? I have a NDM-86. It seems to have a good trigger if it could be smoothed out a little. Please, any suggestions on improving the trigger would be helpful. Thanks

All that I would say is for you to be very careful considering if you screw something up parts are near impossible to find, if you do want to do something with the trigger then have a professional like krebs custom guns do it for you.
I polished mine (.308 NDM). Like lockwood said, you have to be very careful. I went very light on both the trigger and sear using a dremel with a polishing (cloth) wheel and some compound. It's smoother but the travel is still too long. It's hard to transition from one rifle with a short and crisp trigger to the SVD without needing some time to get used to the trigger again. I think a better option would be to have someone who specializes in these types of triggers to have the travel length worked on. I haven't had any work done by Krebs but word of mouth (keyboard really) on the Net is they do quality work.
