Received this info from Jani who lives in Slovenia. I asked him why they refer to the rifle as CZ M76 (I have CZ stamped on my rifle), what the specs were on the M75 ammo (I was under the impression it was a lighter bullet), and where did the rifles that we received most likely came from? Here's his reply:
The CZ stands for Crvena Zastava, Co. the Serbian
company which made the M76 rifles. The material had
come from Serbia if the rifles are like new, if used
they can be from any of republics.
