Compensator for SVD?

I had an idea for fabricating a compensator (slip over flash hider) for my NDM-86. I am still working on the details and was wondering if anyone else has tried this?

do a search in the Russian forum and you'll find that many people are interested in that.
Ideas have been tossed around from using MB offered by DSA to having one milled out at the local fab shop.
