Just got a beautiful 1915 Carl Gustav

I went to the local gun shop today to see about ordering a Saiga .308 and came home with this! I couldn't resist! I don't know if I paid too much or not, but the price wasn't bad at all considering what I paid for a Yugo SKS last December.

This has got to be the most beautiful surplus rifle I have ever seen. Most of my money for the Saiga is gone now, but I just couldn't leave this at the shop. :D

Sweeeeeet! Gotta love those Sweds. Looks to be in Excellent + condition. I bet the bore is super too! Now you've got to go shoot it and see how it groups.:up:

The bore is like a mirror! The blueing on 95% percent of the gun is like new. It's sweet!

The shop where I got mine had 3 in almost the identical shape. Only 2 were left when I got this one.

The barrel bands and magazine floorplate are not numbered the same as the bolt, action, and stock. I don't really care about that stuff when I find a rifle that is this pristine.

I almost don't want to shoot it! I would like to hang it on the wall and I just might, but I will shoot it!;)

Sangrun - check to see if that is the original stock. The Swedes numbered their stocks on the inside. I would be interested to know if it was the original. You have a very nice M96 there.

The stock has the original serial number stamped in both peices.:)
