Congress is debating this and it's ramifications. One of the political downsides that's being discussed is, how to define a terrorist. If he's defined as a terrorist, then the detainees will have to be defined as terrorists as they too are not wearing a uniform that indicates what Nation they are fighting for.

Call your congresscritter and tell them the Ft. Hood victims SHOULD qualify for the Purple Heart as Hassan was clearly on the side of Islam, thus is the enemy!

this is not a first come first served thing, if i think i cant handle it, im not doing it, as i said im just looking for practice, so if i think the design will be somewhat of a challenge, ill try it.

not looking for commercial order of hundreds of pieces either.

from what ive gathered, the going price is $.12 per sq in for basic generic "stocked " designs. im using 24" vinyl sheet, so that comes up to $2.88 per running in. im willing to go $1 per running in (for one color), and no charge for design fee. additional pieces within that 24" cheaper. ie, you want a 6"x6" with your business name and number, 6"=$6 for 1. 4 can fit across 24", the next 3 would be significantly cheaper than $6.

cheaper for large runs. ie, you want something for your truck rear window? 40" will be less than $40. (again, up to 24" wide)

right now i have black, white, red and blue vinyl.

dont know how long ill keep this open.

Go to the Hospital in Illinois and Lose Your Gun Rights
November 17, 2009
By Illinois Gun

The Illinois State Rifle Association www.isra.org has issued a warning to its members of a disturbing trend that is a direct threat to gun ownership.

A new law (PA 95-0564) that requires health care providers to report patients to the state police is playing havoc with Illinois gun owners.

The Law was passed by the Illinois General Assembly in a knee jerk response to the Virginia Tech shooting.

The law requires mental health care providers to report patients that are deemed a threat to themselves or society to the Illinois State Police (ISP) but the new law has taken an unexpected twist.

The ISRA has learned that during certain hospital admission procedures a short interview with a Psychologist maybe part of the admissions process.

The admittance process that triggers an interview with a psychologist may include stress, alcohol treatment or other scenarios.

These seemingly innocent hospital knock and talk interviews are being used by the ISP as a disqualifier for gun ownership.

The ISRA has learned of gun owners being sent notices from the ISP that their FOID card has been revoked after a visit to the hospital.

Apparently Hospitals strapped for cash have included Psychologist interviews as part of their admittents process.

The ISRA is encouraging its members to respectfully decline these interviews if possible.

They are also suggesting that if a member is caught in one of these interviews that they remove their guns from their homes as quickly as possible to a friend or family member with a valid FOID card for safe keeping.

Until the passage of the new law, Illinois and federal gun laws disqualified people from owning a firearm if they had been adjudicated for mental health reasons.

Prior to the 1968 Gun Control Act and the Illinois FOID card law, non-violent felons and people with mental illness were allowed to own guns, yet crime was low.

The health care community understood that the vast majority of people suffering from mental health problems were withdrawn and not a threat to themselves or society.

Plus there was the notion that people could be treated with mental health problems and expect a full recovery.

Will the new law force Illinoisans to put mental health back into the closet or seek alternative means of treatment?

The media loves to associate gun violence with mental illness but ignores the side effects of psychotropic drugs like Prozac and their possible link to violence.

The United States has a long history of guns being given to family members as heirlooms; will that tradition come to an end in Illinois?

If the State of Illinois wants to put Mental Health back into the closet their doing an excellent job.

Senate ethics committee admonishes Burris

Sen. Roland W. Burris (D-Ill.) has been admonished by the Senate ethics committee for his public comments about his appointment last December to the body.

In a three-page "public letter of qualified admonition" issued Friday, the committee formally reprimanded Burris for statements -- some made under oath to an Illinois legislative committee -- in which he denied trying to raise any campaign contributions for indicted former governor Rod Blagojevich for his political committees.

Several weeks after making those statements, and after being sworn in to the Senate, Burris amended his testimony to say that he had discussed trying to gather donations for Blagojevich.

Blagojevich appointed Burris to the Senate after being arrested by the FBI for allegedly trying to sell the seat, once held by President Obama, to the highest bidder.

Fearful of seating anyone selected by Blagojevich, Senate leaders had made Burris's truthful testimony about the appointment before the Illinois legislature a contingency for allowing him to join the chamber in January, becoming its only African American senator.

"You should have known that you were providing incorrect, inconsistent, misleading or incomplete information to the public, the Senate, and those conducting legitimate inquiries into your appointment to the Senate," the committee, made up of three Democrats and three Republicans, found in its unanimous opinion.

A letter of admonition is the mildest form of rebuke that the ethics committee can administer.

In a statement, Burris claimed the ethics letter cleared him because the panel noted that its investigation did not find "any actionable violations of law".

"I am pleased that after numerous investigations, this matter has finally come to a close. I thank the members of the Senate Ethics Committee for their fair and thorough review of this matter, and now look forward to continuing the important work ahead on behalf of the people of Illinois," Burris said.

The committee, however, was less than congratulatory in its assessment of Burris's honesty. In a bold-faced sentence, underlined for emphasis, the panel said: "Your shifting explanations about your sworn statements appear less than candid."

In addition, the committee reviewed a Nov. 13, 2008, phone call that the FBI intercepted, in which Burris and Robert Blagojevich, the former governor's brother, explicity discussed raising money for the governor. Burris repeatedly made mention to the brother to remind Blagojevich about Burris's interest in getting the appointment to the Senate seat, which Obama was about to vacate after winning the presidency.

"The committee finds that this conversation was inappropriate in its content and implications," the panel, led by Sens. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) and Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.), said in its statement.

Senate Majority Whip Richard Durbin (D-Ill.), who played a key role in the seating of his home-state colleague, denounced Burris for his actions in a statement released after the ethics committee admonishment was released.

"We made it clear that in order for him to be seated in the U.S. Senate he needed to appear before the Illinois General Assembly to testify openly, honestly and completely about the nature of his relationship with the former governor, his associates and the circumstances surrounding this appointment," Durbin said. "Since then, the accuracy and completeness of his testimony and affidavits have been called into question. The U.S. Senate Ethics Committee has completed its review into this matter and found that Sen. Burris actions have brought discredit on him and the Senate. The letter of qualified admonition from the Ethics Committee speaks for itself."

From MyFox National Reports

(MYFOX NATIONAL) - Sen. John Kerry’s daughter, Alexandra Forbes Kerry, was arrested in Los Angeles Thursday on suspicion of driving under the influence, police told Fox News.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Norma Eisenman said Forbes Kerry was released on $5,000 bail but did not release any other information.

TMZ.com cited police sources as saying Forbes Kerry, a 36-year-old film producer and director, was pulled over in Hollywood at 12:40 a.m. (PST) after allegedly violating a traffic law.

A formal blood alcohol test showed a reading of .06, TMZ.com said. The legal limit is .08 in California, but drivers under the limit can still be prosecuted for dangerous driving.

While Forbes Kerry was busted by police, another woman earlier this month busted herself by calling 911 to report her own drunk driving . Mary Strey of Granton, Wis., cited and charged with drunken driving and operating with a blood-alcohol level of 0.1 percent or more.

Do hacked e-mails show global-warming fraud?

Controversy has exploded onto the Internet after a major global-warming advocacy center in the UK had its e-mail system hacked and the data published on line. The director of the University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit confirmed that the e-mails are genuine — and Australian publication Investigate and the Australian Herald-Sun report that those e-mails expose a conspiracy to hide detrimental information from the public that argues against global warming (via Watt’s Up With That):

The internet is on fire this morning with confirmation computers at one of the world’s leading climate research centres were hacked, and the information released on the internet.
A 62 megabyte zip file, containing around 160 megabytes of emails, pdfs and other documents, has been confirmed as genuine by the head of the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit, Dr Phil Jones.
In an exclusive interview with Investigate magazine’s TGIF Edition, Jones confirms his organization has been hacked, and the data flying all over the internet appears to have come from his organisation.
“It was a hacker. We were aware of this about three or four days ago that someone had hacked into our system and taken and copied loads of data files and emails.”
