Default CCI Velocitor: who has it, who's tried it?

Has anybody tried the Velocitor ammo yet?
What were your impressions?
Accuracy?
Terminal effects?

My FIL has tried it and he will only shoot it now... He thinks it is tone og the most accurate and balistic rounds for the 22... He is an accuracy freek and a wicked squirl hunter... He has tried just about every ammo out there and he swears by this new stuff

I have a few boxes but haven't shot any yet. Have heard nothing but good things about them though.

Update: Shot some yesterday, got some awesome groups out of my modded 10/22. I'll be buying more soon!

I've shot them in several guns. My Romo 69 loves it, very accurate and consistent. In my Buckmark, also very good results.

Oddly, my much more accurate and much more expensive heavy-barrelled Ruger 77/22 doesn't do that well with it. It prefers target grade low-vel ammo, Wolf, Eley and their ilk.

I think it's a great hard hitting round. Just love the thwack it makes on impact.

Talking I'll say this much...

...those Velocitors are a helluva lot more expensive than those Mexican rds. My rifles love the stuff (CCI). VERY accurate with very reliable expansion.Recovered bullets look like baby Speer Gold Dots . 'Too high dollar for me to use for plinking, but it's definitely my "go to" cartridge for rabbit/cat sized critters. I've had too many squib loads from Aguila's offerings, and yeah, I'ver tried them all over the years. "Aguila...your place for rimfire fantasy" ought to be that outfit's overall theme/motto.
